Communicate with GPS

Garmin has released the code to communicate with a GPS via a USB port. The code is written in C and can be downloaded from <[url removed, login to view]>?

I would like the code translated into VB (Access 2003 or VB6)

GPS's have waypoint data, In each record there are at least 5 field types (Im not sure of the actual field names) The fields are:

1) Longitude

2) Latitude

3) Short Name or Waypoint Name

4) Long Name or Description

5) Icon Value (This displays an Icon for type of Waypoint

This is what I need to be able to do:

A) A function needs to look at the USB ports to see if a GPS is connected, If one is connected - return the GPS Device info

B)I need to get ALL WayPoints records in one Get Statement (This is Standard for getting data from a GPS)

C) I Need to be able to send as 20 records to the GPS at one time in a Send Statement and return a error code of successful or not

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
