We can talk in more detail, but basically, i hired a project in RAC and my coder dissapeared on me (gave up). The project is an anti spam program. you can see it and try it at [login to view URL] (it's somewhat buggy)
I can tell you that the allspamgone project is quite an involved project. It took 10 months for the coder to write it. It's a vbproject with :
22 forms
10 modules *.bas
8 class modules *.cls
I'm guessing the bug fixes are very small changes, just tricky to find.
I have several bugs that need to be found and fixed:
1) after a while, the program just seems to stop responding. This is part of the code that periodically checks email from the users server (pop3) and listens and sends email from their email client to their smtp server (smtp server). This is the most tricky and most important bug
2) there are enhancements to the setup portion that i would like to see fixed (i can describe this later in more detail)
3) there a few other misc bugs and UI enhancements.
What i propose is that i'll send you the source code (written in VB), you'll investigate, and fix these bugs and work on a few enhancements I had in mind.
I know it's difficult to bid on this. maybe you could reply with an idea of how much you would like to charge me per hour. i am willing to pay per hour because I would like this to be an ongoing relationship. If you fix these bugs, and do a good job on this project, you would receive ongoing projects bug fixes etc. for this software and possibly some of the othe A1Tech, Inc. projects.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
You will take the source i give you (which is written in VB 6), modify/fix it, and send it back.
