Database app Clone with optimization

HI,

I want a database application which would be a clone of Salon Salon II application in context to features. But i need this new application to be more efficient which can run on the LAN network supporting multiple users at the same time.

I need this application to be either in VB or VB.NET with a totally different interface for all the users forms that is more user friendly and efficient.

**Some features include:**

Salon software and management system. Its easy-to-use interface includes Payroll, Ledger, Appointment, Point of Sale screen, and Customer Database. Appointment screen allows you to set recurring appointments and post a memo to each client.

I have also attached a word file which descibes the existing features of this base software.

**Features needed:**

--> User rights module where admin users with admin rights can create users and assign rights based on individual modules or forms including enabling disabling specefic buttons for that module too.

Like for a normal user i dont want to give upate and delete options on a particular module, so those buttons will be disabled when that user logs in to the application.

--> I also need a trail version control with a good serial key generator based on a hash code which the customers would email, that could be the serial no. of the Hard Drive which will be unique for that machine to maintain licenses.

**Note: I dont want? Barcode reader feature and the Cash Drawer support feature in this application so while bidding keep this in mind.

I will also need the help file along with the application.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
