I had this project coded a few years ago and it has stopped working. I believe that this is due to an update with Windows. I need it fixed so that it will work on Windows again without any more problems. Also for some reason the computer will not turn off when this application is open, it has to be closed manually. I would like that fixed as well.
I am attaching the code for the application as well as the compiled application so that you can see it.

This might be a problem with permissions. What version of windows are you running. Also the pc cannot shut down might be due to the code holding it in memory
