I HAVE TO MAKE A PORTFOLIO IN WHICH I HAVE TO DESIGN A LOW-COST HYDROPWER SCHEME FOR A DEVELOPING COUNTRY AT A SITE WITH ELEVATION DIFFRENCE OF 25M AND A FLOW RATE VARYING FROM 3 M^3 /S IN T HE DRY SEASON TO 8 M^3/S IN THE RAINY SEASON. THE PUMP IS TO BE USED AS THE TURBINE IN THIS SCHEME. ALL KINDS OF CALCULATION WHICH INVOLVE THE CALCULATION OF FLOW RATE ,THE HEAD LOSS, THE ENERGY LOSSES , POWER GENERATED , TAILRACE , PENSTOCK, DRAFT TUBE, TURBINE CALCULATIONS WHICH SHOULD INVOLVE ALL THE EQUATIONS AND GRAPHS. THE LOCATION IS TO BE SELECTED ACCORDINGLY WHERE THE POWER GENERATED SHOUL BE ABLE TO PROVIDE TO THE POPULATION PRESENT THERE.
