I need you to quickly fix an error while installing ionic on my system

I installed ionic and cordova using the following commands:
$ npm install -g ionic
$ npm install -g cordova
But when I check the version or try to add the platform, I get the following error. I want you to fix this error and help me setup the right environment for my app.

What version of ionic are you trying to install ? Try downgrading to closes stable version, i had noticed this issue 3.15.2 Downgrading to 3.15 fixed it for me. npm install ionic@3.15.0 --save-dev --save-exac
