I need an android app to control my company’s fleet of cars and drivers.
My company has dozens of cars to move the collaborators all around the city and I’d like this app could work as a private Uber.
I need to:
- Register all the vehicles, drivers and users
- Create groups of cars, groups of drivers and groups of users
- Link the groups of cars with the groups of drivers that can drive those groups of cars
- Link the group of cars with the groups of users that can call those groups of cars
Every time a user call a vehicle, the application need to find out the quicker trip for the user.
I also need an web application for the administration. To register vehicles, drivers and users, and to create reports.
For instance, an importante report to show is the average time that the cars are not in use. This report will let me know if I can reduce the number of the vehicles.
I’ll install an smartphone with a 4G SIM card to each vehicle. As soon as the driver is in the car, he needs to login to the app and he’ll be the responsible for keeping the smartphone in operation, even if the car is not in use. This means that the app will have to communicate with the server application in a regular time base (maybe every one minute).
