***This is what’s required :-***
1) You download the [login to view URL] (CSV file) and test it with your code (choosing all rows and columns) then post your results (with your Machine specs ??" Motherboard Type ,CPU Type, Speed, and HardDrive (full specs) on rentacoder and on our forum at [[login to view URL]][1] - you will have to register. This allows you to optimize your code and compare what’s the speed’s attained by other coders.
2) We will then ask the fastest coders to place their bids and accept one or more bids. We will then ask to test the code(exe only no source) on our test machine; we reserve the right to not accept your bid if the speed is below average (variance of above 15%) to what was stated.
3) All results will be transparent and our choice of coders will be based on speed and efficiency. We also have code which shows three methods of doing the above and you could even tweak this code and post your results or choose to do it your way . . With our current code a test file of 1/2 million rows in uploaded and displayed in under 5 minutes.

## Deliverables
***This is the flow of how the program should function:-***
1) Create a windows form in Visual Studio 2005 in .Net VB
2) You can use any other form/class or external DLL (in Deplhi) but it must integrate seamlessly with .Net VB.
3) A Open File Dialogue box to choose the CSV file and Template to use for this file
4) If no template exist the templates has to be created with this info.
A) Name of the headers and the columns you need to import into the DataGrid. The template must also allow the formatting of the DataGrid in the following way:
B) Define headers of the Columns in the DataGrid
C) Size of the Columns in the DataGrid.
D) Ask if the column holds date, text or numeric value(Single)
E) If the column is read only or writable.
F) Characters in the column that will exclude complete row to be uploaded into DataGrid (wildcard type eg:*.01-07 will exclude all dates from 1st to 31st of Jan 2007 if it’s a date column; >100 if it’s numeric column will only load above 100 value rows)
G) Create the XML schima (xsd) file to store the data for the template.
5) Create a button to upload the DataGrid and save data as XML usable by Crystal Reports. The overall speed test will include this upload.
6) You should report to us the time in minutes and seconds to load the CVS file into the DataGrid and the time it takes to load into Crystal Reports ; if you can combine both in one run of code and get better performance results than feel free to do so . .

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
