Simple SIP Dialer for ''Click to Call'' App

I am developing a "Click to Call" Application, implemented as an Adobe Acrobat plugin. Just like a user clicks on an underlined URL, my user will click on an underlined phone number and a call will be established to the telephone in question. More specifically, you should write C/C++ code which:

(1) Dials the remote phone number

(2) Dials the telephone on the Acrobat users' desk (the guy who clicked)

(3) Bridges the two calls (1) and (2).

Familiarity with the Asterisk source code, or similar SIP (INVITE, etc.) implementations is a requirement.
