Traffic Exchange System For Bloggers

===== Description ===== We need a system where bloggers (publishers) signup and post links to their blog post including: - title - image - short description - link The bloggers will then post a small widget on their blog/website that we generate for them. This widget will consist of thumbnails of other blog posts from other bloggers. Basic concept is, when a blogger sends us traffic, we send equal or more traffic back to their website, hence traffic exchange.

==== Business Specs ==== Clone of [url removed, login to view] OR [url removed, login to view] ALL features BUT Better! - Please signup at [url removed, login to view] - Browse around and see the features they have, we will need them all - They do exactly what we want Our system should include the following: - EXTERNAL PAGES - Browse pages - just like our sample sites, visitors should be able to come to our site and browse blog posts from other publishers and when clicked go to the respective blog post. (Please visit the sample sites to see the functionality) We need it cloned almost exactly but better looking. - Signup - Login (can just be a login box anywhere on the pages - SIGNUP PAGE - ability for a publisher/blogger to signup - Verify their email address before logging in (Ability to turn this off in admin panel) - PUBLISHER DASHBOARD - DASHBOARD HOME -this will display stats (number of clicks sent, number of clicks received, percentage retunred) (GRAPHS would be nice) - POST SUBMISSION - allow the publisher to submit their rss feed which we can automatilly index (but it must be held in moderation queue) - allow the publisher to submit manual posts (but it'll be held in the moderation queue) - POST WIDGET - generate a post widget (includes other posts from other bloggers in our system) to be pasted in their blogs/website - system should have a smart algorithm to pick what posts from other publishers should be displayed on their websited based on who we owe traffic back - the % of traffic to send back should be adjustable in ADMIN PANEL - ACCOUNT DETAILS - publisher should be able to edit account (add/remove site, edit/change password) - CORE SYSTEM - track how much traffic a publisher/bloger is sending us - Smart algorithm to prevent scams and fake traffic - ability to send (x)% of traffic back to the publisher (this should be easily adjustable by us in our admin panel) - ADMIN PANEL - some sort of ability to ban publisher ip/domain - ability to moderate both manual and auto (rss) feed submission - ability to adjust the % traffic being sent back (global) - ability to view and browse all publishers - view overall statistics or all publishers - view publisher specific statistics NOTE: These are just some of the top level features we need, this is subject to be modified as we get in the project. All features from the 2 sample sites are required to be implemented in this system. ===== Techinal Specs ======= - We want this developed in codeigniter framework - PHP / MYSQL - Nice Template design, this can be purchased and given to you - No sloppy / ugly html... only clean html + css + js. - Clean code and use of OOP - Good database design - Secure code - We want the developer/company to be available on MSN for live chat through out the development process - We want daily reports on the status - Everything needs to be done to our satisfaction before we can mark this project complete. - We will OWN 100% rights to all code and media used for this project - No resale or cloning of this script will be allowed (contract needs to be signed) 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).

2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.
