Referral Tracking System

Greetings!

I would like to setup a cookie-based referral tracking system. There are many of these out there and this one is no different.

Here is how it would work:

The landing page would have a javascript include page that exists as a php page on a remote site. When the visitor lands on the page, the javascript in the php file would look for a specific parameter (refidcode). If that parameter exists, a record would be written to a db table that we had a hit from a source that we are tracking.

The source call would look like:

Each page visited would be recorded based on that users cookie as well.

Once the visitor lands on the receipt page, a js function called trk would be called passing the orderid and the amount. This info would be written to the db for later reporting. You can mockup all of these parameters.

This system would be built as a standalone system and I would simply plug it into my websites. The above is just for reference, I am open to other methods. The system simply needs to record clicks and buys based on a siteid and referrer code passed into the page. I would just need a table that had action (land, buy), spent ($), siteid (passed into source file), visitorid(passed in to js function on buy).

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
