PHP Code Update for Joomla Component

My site utilizes a component call "DT Register" by DTH Development to handle Event Registration. It's really a great component EXCEPT that it does not support Google Monthly Payments (similar to Paypal Monthly Payments, without some of the fees).

I have done a bulk of the analysis and know mostly what steps need to be taken and how the mechanism should function.

So the work I need accomplished is to:

1. Add Google Monthly Payment Option Settings (Enable/Disable) to the DT Register Component Back End. (PHP and MySql table updates)

2. If Enabled and selected during checkout, the component will:

a. Determine the number of full months between now() and the event date (round down)

b. Divide each item's total price by the result of step a. (Round Up)

c. Provide the user the opportunity to confirm the number of Payments and Price.

d. Submit the properly formatted Checkout request to Google.

e. Handle the HTTPS status responses from Google.

The goal is to allow the Admin the ability to turn this on/off but have the remainder controlled in code and by the user themselves.

I would be looking to start this work as early as February 5th and would like around a March 1st "go live".

Also prefer anyone who has worked with DT Register previously, but I am finding that development experience limited.
