Thunderbird add-on

I am looking for an extension for Thunderbird 1.5 that will convert incoming emails with faulty Turkish characters such as follows:

İ --> İ

ı --> ı

Ş --> Ş

ş --> ş

Ğ --> Ğ

ğ --> ğ

If anyone can code for free or not , please contact me.

I wish to give such an extension freely to the community.
