well basically I have a real estate website built on WP and HOUZEZ theme.
I need to make two customizations:
1. I wanna have a DOWNLOAD button by every property that after you press it shows a simple form with 3 mandatory fields people will fill it in and send to me, I will get a copy of the email with their info and they will get a email with a automated message with the property listing attached, main image + details of the listing + gallery if possible
(see example of what i want here [url removed, login to view] - the button here is called PROSPECT)
2. this is a bit of an issue with WP. the images of real estates the I upload get multiple size variations. My current real estate has around 2000 listings and every one has 10-20 images in the gallery. and every image gets 15 size variations. and if you multiply all these numbers you get a pretty big number. 2000x15x15=450 000 images in ONE folder (i imported all my listings in one month, thats why) and its causing a little bit of server lag sometimes plus I cant use multimedia in WP backoffice anymore as it takes too long to load the images..
I need somehow to turn off image thumbnail creation or somehow solve this issue. I dont need 15 image size variations for EVERY picture I upload to WP, it gives insane numbers. if someone has a solutions for this I will be happy to use it.. preferably without changing WP core files as I would still like to update it obviously.
