Online secure client database

客观

Objective

The multilingual online database will allow clients to provide information and documents to the company for review and confirmation, then the information in the database will be written onto pre-formatted PDFs for printing.

User Interaction

The client will input initial information into a non-password protected page. The data will be saved to a temporary table within the database.

An administrator will review the temporary table data and transfer the data to appropriate permanent tables. Upon transferring, the client will receive an email requesting that the client login to provide additional data and to provide documents.

Each client will have a landing page where they can see the information and documents they have already provided, and a list of the information and documents still needed. From here they can provide the needed information and documents, and can update existing information. Any new or changed information provided by the client will be saved to temporary databases until confirmed by an administrator and transferred to appropriate permanent tables.

Once all information has been obtained from the client and reviewed, an administrator will transfer the information onto pre-formatted PDFs. The PDFs are forms onto with the information will be placed at specific locations. Once transferred to the PDFs, the PDFs will be saved to to the server. The system will send an email to the client informing her that the PDFs are ready for printing. The client will then print out the PDFs.

状态

Status

Most of the mySQL tables are already prepared. Some of the PHP is already prepared. Basic php/sql security written. No SSL/SSH at this time. Multilingual not yet implemented at SQL level. Document upload function not prepared. Write-to-PDF function nor prepared. I will work closely with the developer to understand the requirements.
