Toolbar for all browsers

We need a toolbar that displays a html rendering context / iframe in all the major browsers, ideally cross platform (with the exception of internet explorer) Preferably all extensions written in javascript (with the exception of IE, it would have to be c/delphi, NOT C#) and preferably all similar codebase with exporting to different types of browser extension. Javascript may also need to be executed in the main dom window. What will you build the IE toolbar with ? afaik you cannot use javascript you can use c++, even firebreath would be good idea just to confirm everything; The goal of this project is to create a toolbar that is a 'browser window'/html rendering context. This is so we can develop the toolbar in html and have it work in all browsers. The html/css/img content will be packaged with the toolbar. It will also need to insert/execute javascript in the main dom window. (on dom ready) and intercept/redirect url changes of main dom window and iframes. The project is intended to be a toolbar framework, so we can develop once and deploy crossbrowser without having to worry about browser-specific implementations. It will need to work in Internet Explorer 7,8,9, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera (Opera is not so important). Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera must work on OSX as well as Windows. The toolbar must survive browser updates (i.e firefox 3 updated to 4 and we lost installs) so we need a solution for this. In Summary; - You will not need to develop toolbar gui - Load html into rendering context, for toolbar - Load javascript file to be inserted into dom, for javascript execution - Provide event handler/function to be called on javascript for url redirection.
