We need a software developed in VB.NET (no exception) that will allow the user to upload a Shapefile, KMZ, KML, or MapInfo Mid/Mif file. Then the user will select a few search parameter and the program will calculate how many Landsat 8 tiles are needed to fill in the Shapefile, KMZ, KML, or Mid/MIF. Also It will generate a list of tiles that match the criteria and allow the user to turn on and off a thumbnail preview. After the user selects the tiles they want the program will download and produce a RGB 15 Meter resolution Tiff or JPG with corresponding world file. All Landsat 8 imagery are available via Amazon Web Service (AWS). A GUI has already been developed in VB.NET and will be provided to you once the project is awarded. All source code and libraries will be delivered before final payment is made. This project will be broken down into 2 milestones. 1st one will pay once the working delivery is made. The 2nd one will be after all revisions have been made and source code and libraries are delivered. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks.
New brief summary..... Program will allow user to upload a shapefile/kmz into it. It will figure out the appropriate Landsat8 Tiles needed to cover the shapefile/kmz. Program will search throughout the whole archive for images that matches its criteria...date range, cloud cover, and sun angle. It will display result and allow user to load "thumbprints" of the tile in the viewer. User will check the tiles they want and it will download the imagery and merge the correct bands to create a 15M RGB file (bands 2,3,4, and 8). It will generate a new TIF/TFW or JPG/JPW file in the output folder. More infor provided in the previous word document and the link below:
