I am a Dutch native speaker and I'm fluent at English vocabulary and grammar. I've had English class at academic level and lived a considerable time in Australia where I further practised and perfected my English.
I recently did a Cambridge Assessment English test, this were the results:
Your level is C2 (advanced/mastery)
This is approximately equivalent to CPE, an IELTS band score of 9 or 120 at TOEFL iB
This level is assessed as:
C2
ALTE 5
The capacity to deal with material which is academic or cognitively demanding, and to use language to good effect at a level of performance which may in certain respects be more advanced than that of an average native speaker.
Example: CAN scan texts for relevant information, and grasp main topic of text, reading as quickly as a native speaker.
This shows I am qualified to translate or transcribe both Dutch and English.
I hope you will give me a chance to prove this to you and am looking forward to working together.
Regards,
E. Bouman.
