Create DLL to validate keycodes and add security

Create a .DLL which will be called by another program. This DLL runs 3 simple tests to verify a program is a legitimate version. It then returns a code to the calling program to tell it that the software is legitimate or that it is not legitimate.

This DLL will have 3 little programs in it(I am not a programmer I dont know what they are called but I know a DLL has code that can be called by the main program).

1. A CD check which verifies certain files are on a CD in the CD drive, then it sets a registry key.

2. An activation code checker that accepts a code, decrypts it, if it was recently issued(the date is in it) then the registry key is set to show it is valid. This will also require an key generator which I think will be simple, just call the .DLL and let it return the encrypted key since it already has the code.

3. A popup message program which will choose a random message and display it.

Basically this project requires a DLL that generates and checks an activation code, the other two features simply check for files on a CD and the other? displays popup messages.

The key generation will require both the dll to test keys and to generate key codes(so I can have codes to give out). The popup message generator has some other features too for example the popups must show up at certain times and these will be system error type messages(not ads). So there are some other details but the above is how it works.

I will provide the details to the final coder but you can determine what the project requires from the above. I like my projects to be polished and professional too, so I will likely ask for various text changes in popups etc, just be forewarned that I like the final program to look nice and professional.
