Detect Android UUID via Browser

I need a way to detect the users UUID via a mobile web browser. From what I've found online, it's not impossible but extremely difficult. We are not storing the UUID, we just need to detect it and store it in a variable each time a page is hit on an android device.
I'm not looking to spend days on this so if you can do it in a day or so, that would be great. Thanks.
