393 Sociology of Humour

This is the first part and I would like to continue after I get the beginning of the dissertation with chapter 1

Paper details:

The thesis should cover especifically two main ideas: how do comedians resemble to ethnographers collecting data from the social world; how do comedians resemble to intelectuals reflecting upon and constructing the social images of the world. It would be necessary to use both the social phenomenology and the theory of the social construction of the world, as it is well defined in the thesis plan.

This is a sort of table of contents that the thesis/dissertassion could look like - this is the project I presented, but it's not unchangeable. I would like the theoretical discussion be supported especially by social phenomenology, social construction of reality and even to make some parallels between humor and ethnomethodology. For the chapter about humor and ethnography I would like you to consider the works of Clifford Geertz, if possible. There are some books that I used to make this outline and that I would like to see included, although they are the most common books used for this field of discussion. Should I write them down for you?
