A program that's modeling against [login to view URL] That program does those things: 1. when user point mouse on a certain word and press (ctrl or alt or shift) the program would look up that 'word underneath the mouse' in a dictionary and then display the content of that entry. 2. user can also bring up the program and type directly into the program interface and get its content 3. user can paste a block of text and request the program to translate the text. This Lingoes program invoke the service of Google to do the translation Note the dictionary are mostly open source and its file format is listed in [login to view URL] Interested coders please visit [login to view URL] for details. In quoting, just quote me the first module and that is: A program that will look up screen displayed words under the mouse, when either a control, alt or shift key is pressed. No need to quote anything else. I will gradually add all the modules, plus some additional features not present in [login to view URL] One thing that I need interested coder to answer is: What [login to view URL] can do is certainly do-able. It's been done. The question is: Can the new program (to be developed) somehow manage to get at 'the full RTF feature of the words where mouse is on? Example, suppose a text on screen is formatted to be of font Georgia with color reference #0B0B0B would the new program to detect those RTF (font related) feature? I would only work with coder that knows how to obtain such font information for words under mouse.
