**DESIGN INSTRUCTIONS
**MAJOR INFLUENCE: as clean, modern and spacious as [[login to view URL]][1] (when in doubt, copythe principles of this site)
SECONDARY INFLUENCE: Bring in elements of the book cover (see the purple fishcover at [[login to view URL]][2].The site is to promote the book)
THIRD INFLUENCE: use any elements of the old brand at [[login to view URL]][3] IF useful. Would benice if people could see a link between this new website and the old brand. Butonly if it supports the design.
COLORS: not sure of the base color, but we’ll want orange and purpleaccents to match the book cover. Perhaps the base color could be the same blueof the old brand at [login to view URL]
#1 WEBSITE GOAL: collect email addresses.
Should be a prominent email capture form on every page (likeat [[login to view URL]][4]? ). Plus a MORE prominent capture deviceon the home page (like the pop-up postit note at [[login to view URL]][5]
Two hooks to get signups: a) Download 1/3 of the book now!
b) How free are you? Take the freedom quiz.
CREDIBILITY:
- Let’s bring in credibility somehow (foreword by JackCanfield, and teaching at Columbia University)
- perhaps lifestyle pics (the hammock pics, coaching on the beach, coachingfrom a phone booth in Thailand, hang gliding etc.)

I want people to see five obvious things to click onwhen they come to
the site, on the home page, above the fold. Five elements like at [[login to view URL]][6]. Use circles or not, it’s up to you. Even better would be to use an icon thatrepresents each of the freedoms (take from [[login to view URL]][7])
All of the below, except the quiz, are on the home page, it just scrolls down.
