I Need a MYSQL Database Expert to debug a trigger and stored procedure.
History:
I have one table called slc. This is an OLTP table. Data keeps on getting inserted into this table every couple of minutes. It is a data for streetlighting. Street lights send 2 types of data viz
1) switching data: this is a data they send when they are on/off.
2) faults data: this is the data they send when they generate faults.
Problem statment: There is a trigger and stored procedure to check in SLC table that if the switching data/faults data is changed from the previous record, then insert that record in SLCEvents table.
But currently wrong data is inserted in the slcevents table.
Can anyone help with this?
