OBJECT SPEECH: Record Player
SPECIFIC PURPOSE: to inform my audience about the four things my photo of My 1950s record Player cabinet and how its unique sound and smell makes me feel alive.
CENTRAL IDEA: My symbolizes the following: I have Many memories of being with my grandmother at her house. She was absolutely the most wonderful woman in the world to me, and she introduced me to the the most beautiful thing, her record player. I would go to her house and go straight to the den, push down on the top of the record player; the excitement was almost to much to control; the smell of the vinyl was intoxicating, and the sound of the needle (stylus) moving across the vinyl’s grooves amazing. It was and is today my safe haven my own place of peace away from everything.
