Update VBA and security in an old Word 97-2003 spreadsheet to work properly with Excel 2016

We have an old Excel spreadsheet (93-07) format that now throws up security and other errors when opened on some machines with Office2016. It has macro's and formulas. The specific errors relate to VBA that we have seen so far. We need to upgrade this sheet to be fully functional again with Office2016.
