Wordpress Enhancement .

We need a developer to do some developments and changes to our new Wordpress .. Details attached ..

1) I am going back and forth between the icandy them and the magazine theme. I like the crispness of the magazine them but I want one column in the middle.

I have the first post as a sticky. I want it to stay up there but not as a post. Basically directions on what to do on the site.

2) I want the blue background that is there but I want the posts to have a white background and to have a border around each post (to separate them).

3) I want the users to be able to submit their own stories (after I have approved them) but I want their names to show up - once I edit the story not listed as admin.

4) I want to be able to post a poll on the bottom of each poll.

With attachments a word document of what I want the poll button to look like). For now the poll is in poll daddy but I don't care if we use that or not. I would like to be able to post the poll and reuse the poll over for each poll without having to create a new poll .. You can suggest for a poll system ..

Some simple changes, like:

I want to also remove the categories and archives on the right side.

I like the idea of leaving the comments there so people can have a conversation if they want.

I like the latest posts or something like that on the side - so people can see the titles of the stories without scrolling down.

I envision a hot or not ([url removed, login to view]) type site but with posts. I am open to suggestions also.
