Create 2D Cartoon Character Designs

I have a design for a 2D game app and need graphic images to promote the game to investors and for use in crowdfunding. Preference will be given to a freelancer that also has 2D animation capabilities for additional work after this project if I'm happy with your work. The style of design I'm looking for from you is very similar to the style used in the popular game Angry Birds however my characters are more than just birds. I have sample sketches available after project close that will give you a better idea of what I'm looking for. This project will require approximately 8-10 different animal characters to be designed based on my recommendations. Each character will need to be designed with a couple different facial expressions such as angry, neutral or happy. I will also need some character images to include props added such as a bandana, ski goggles, gas mask, or police riot helmet. I will also need a design or two of a sling shot device similar to but not exactly like that used in the game Angry Birds. As well I would like a couple sample designs for a catapult device. I can provide further direction on the style of catapult. Lastly, I will need one sample mock game screen shot image. I will provide further direction as to the content of the screen shot. At the end of the project I will need the images in a common shareable high resolution format but will also require the source file in the format from the design application such as Adobe Illustrator or other program used. If the work is done well then a subsequent project will seek to have work done to animate the characters with some very simple movements and a mock animation of basic game play. No programming is required just short animation to simulate game play.
