I have written a server that listens on port 100 for incoming traffic. Initially I wrote it in a windows application and it worked fine; subsequently I moved the code over to a windows service and unfortunately it did not work. I used a little application to that reports on ports and sais which applications are bound to ports. The application picked up my windows application but failed to pick up my windows service. Hence I conclude that my windows service was unable to bind to the port. I think it is probably just a security problem. I simply need you to assist me in getting my windows service to bind to the port. I will not be able to give you access to the server so you will need to help me via skype.
