I haven't had any luck getting this done so I am posting it again. Can anyone take background noises from a DVD with one sound track. The DVD was a recording of a seminar but there was a lot of background noise from an adjoining room and we need to get rid of it. The entire DVD is an hour long. I have been told that this has to be done manually, it won't work with filters. If you can do it let me know and I will give you the URL for a sample for you to clean so I can consider it

Hi there, without hearing a sample, it's tough to say how hard it would be to dump the background noise. It's possible it can be done with filters, but you would have to build one (or several) based on the frequency of the background noise. I'd love to give it a try. I've been doing broadcast production for 15 years and haven't been stumped too may times. If it's possible, could you send me a minute or two of the audio. Thanks! Out-House Audio

I work specifically as an editor for this type of situation. According to the description, this will be very tedious and consuming. I can get it done in a timely manner. Do you have a sample available to listen to?

Do you have access to the MASTER TAPES? This job will be simple & inexpensive with the master tapes, difficult & expesive without. I could re-create this project from scratch for less. Would like to know more. Thanks.
