I need a TCP Client - Server application that is able to transfer byte streams for chat, file transfers and so on, made in Visual Basic .NET 2008 or above. The GUI is not a problem; you can just dump random things everywhere; I'll fix them myself. The following features are required: - TCP based ONLY - A-Sync file, text transfer - Theoretically unlimited clients - Server has no controls, other than "restart" and "start/stop" - Client and Admin control are separate from the server and each other - Chat (chatroom + one on one), file transfer, system transfers (auth, notifications, ads) - Rich Text Chat Log - ability to include colors, italics, underlining and bolding - Rijndael on-the-fly data encryption + checksums - Ability to internally store files as a stream (and thus not saving/dumping contents to a file) I will need the source code. If you need, I have a base that I've been working on for a while, but recently ran out of time to develop, which includes the TCP base, encryption algorithms, save file to stream and using it in the program. Sir, As per your requirements, here are my initial inputs for the project on the higher level: 1> We can create a WCF application containing a client and server solutions. 2> We can keep TCP as the protocol for communication and expose endpoints on the server with TCP addresses. The end points can be exposed using service hosts. 3> We can use these server endpoints on the client application to send and receive responses. All the above activities are part of WCF but need proper implentation and knowledge which is my area of expertise. Another advantage with me is my fluency with english. I have made this before allready but this will be coded in Auto it hope i do not matter . but i can make it pretty fast because i have made this before. also i have all ready a server and a client ready just needed to be modified a little bit so it will take about 2 days to make.
