Once we recieve an enquire the first thing we need to do is raise a formal quotatation and email it to the customer. The quotation will have the following 1) cup size and the type of cup either single or double wall. 2) Print make ready cost this is just a price we can update from time to time. 3) delivery cost 4) full customer information and intergrated with forms emailed to use from website so no need to type in the details. Final quotation, this will need to be stored and be able to email and convert to PDF Job costing Full job costing for the raw materials, and outsourced costs, labour, profit, this will be used to produce the cost of each size cup ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- quotation acceptance Once a quotation has been accepted we need to make open a job file this needs to contain the artwork we have produced in Microsoft Illustrator PDF format and convert the quote to a job, here we need to create a auto number for the b and allocate the machine number/s the cups will be made on and the quanties to be made on each machine, it also needs to provide the completion date is worked out from the date the job was created plus 15 working days this is excluding weekends, but this can be manually updated to change this date if we rush through a job. We need to be able to print the job which will contain the artwork and the job quantity for each artwork/cup and the machine/s it will be produced on We then need the machine opperated to be able to update the file as completed we need an interface for sales to create the quotation and convert to job, and an opperator interface to update and print jobs in a queue for each machine without seeing the costs etc Reports we would need to print report on jobs for the month or week total cups made on each machine operators for each machine so we know who made the cups, customer reports, print number of jobs per customer etc this oulines how it should work.- Needs to be multi user so network support is required
