I would like to help with this, I suppose your main objective is an efficient implementation my knowledge on CUDA optimization may be helpful. Do you target square NxN matrices? I don't know if you are supposed to write a new code or you can base your solution to a previous one, have you done any search? [login to view URL] Also there is CuSolver which can handle such a task. If you want a textbook reference I think "Numerical Recipes in C" is very detailed about the subject

I am very proficient in c and c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and have worked for more than 7 years. I have ever done SVD using OpenMp(opencv multi processing), which used multi cpu processing. So, I can fulfill this project using Cuda through some study, I am sure. Hello, expert in C programming here and Numerical Analysis. I can implement the SVD decomposition for a matrix for you. AFAIK, the cross-product algorithm implies creating a cross-product matrix from the original one extracting the columns means and normalizing. After this one will apply typical SVD decomposition algorithms but on the new matrix (the one obtained in the previous step). Thanks and let me know if you are interested to work with me, Paul
