We have a C# application that needs to work with a C++ library. We do not have the source code of the C++ library, but we have a C++ demo application that uses the library and works correctly (see SDK [login to view URL]) What the library does is that it allows you to connect to a scanner, get a list of the images in the scanner memory, and request an image, which is then returned in an event. In [login to view URL] you will find a simplified version of our C# application. Most of the code that communicates with the library is written, but gives errors, such as access violation errors, etc. We do not use all the functions in the DLL, just the ones already added in the sample C# app, and more specifically: OpenScannerSDK OpenScanner GetScannerStatus GetImageList RequestImage CloseScanner CloseScannerSDK Your job is to make those functions work correctly, as they do in the sample C++ demo application. Note: you will have to test the application through Team Viewer on a computer that has the actual scanner attached! Download link to complete SDK documentation [login to view URL]

It is a very much doable project. I happend to have done a similar task. In my case I wrote a CUDA dll in C++ that did some coputation on the GPU, but wanted to do the rest in C#. And I did, I connected the C++ library with CUDA function to my C# application. It worked like a charm. I hope I will hear from you soon. :)
