Project Brief A person is needed to create 49 unique descriptions, approx 130 words long of new products that we are selling and are adding to our website. The 130 word description will be split up into two parts. 1) A summary description of 30 words summarising the main full description; this will be customer’s first view of the product and needs to be eye-catching. It should summarise the main description but as far as possible not straight copy parts from the main description. 2) The main product description of approx minimum 100 words long. More detail below: You will **not** actually add the products to our website just focus on creating high quality English descriptions in a MS-word format approx 130 words long. (summary 30 words, main description 100 words approx) 1) The descriptions will require you to gather information from competitor’s websites who are selling the same product through Google from a list of product names provided, coming up with a totally unique description from how other people describe the product and from what you have found on what the product does and how it works. Which are related but everything needed Google provides. 2) Need to be a minimum of 130 words long and include the full name of the product no less than 2 times in a way that sounds good. 3) There are certain things that each description must include: a)What the product does b)Benefits c) How to use the product if applicable. 4) The description needs to sell the product to the customer and should be of high quality wording and explain what the product does and why they should use it. Our products are Eco Friendly related so there are many benefits and reasons to buy products and these need to be expressed within the descriptions to sell the product. 5) Each description should be formatted e.g. bold, bullets points etc used so the description is fully ready for us to copy into our ECommerce website. We have attached a text file containing the products that we want descriptions for. Each product has a title which if you copy into Google will bring more information up about that product and a photo to ensure you are writing about the correct product! The descriptions can be created in MS word and we will then add them to our ecommerce website NO HTML is needed. Just plain text and the products we sell are Eco Friendly related. Eventually the descriptions you create will be used on an ecommerce website as the product description.
