**This project is for native Arabic speakers only. You must have excellent Arabic language skills, including Modern Standard Arabic.** This is not a difficult job for a well-educated person from an Arabic-speaking country, but impossible without knowledge of Arabic.
Your task in this project is to create an Arabic word list for a spell-checker in a word processor.
I will give you a plug-in software that you install in your Internet Explorer (version 6 or 7 is OK), and this plug-in scans all web pages you view. It then displays all "unknown" words with a yellow background:
[Screenshot][1] (this is an example of a Polish web site)
You can then click on a word, and a small menu appears that allows you to either "learn" (a valid Arabic word) or "ignore" (not a valid Arabic word; maybe a common typo) the word.
I am already including a large Arabic word list, so you do not need to start from scratch.
I expect that you add at least 80000 sensible Arabic words. All declinations and conjugations that you find are OK to learn.
You should only learn words by going to "reputable" sites, with "reputable" meaning that they can be expected to know the Arabic language: government web sites, newspaper sites, Wikipedia, online dictionaries or lexicons, scientific sites etc.
