Hi, I understand what you need an automated web scraper but it is weird that you approximate it only by 300,000 restaurant. That is very small volume if we are talking about all states of America. Anyway I have done this job many times in my previous years. I am quite new in freelancing career but to prove to you that I am not a newbie on this kind of job I'll list the technologies I use. I use the ff. tools to build an automated web scraper. 1. Python using PyQuery - for easy web sites 2. Scrapy for other sites 3. Multiple Web Server with very fast internet - so I can deliver the request as soon as possible. 4. Amazon S3 - for storing the data I scrapped 5. Amazon Glacier - again for storing but for bigger volume (hundred million) or request that has images. 6. For harder web sites that is very hard or impossible to automate the scrapping I use other people help to do it - a mix of automated and manual scraping. It is hard to know how difficult your request is until you gave me the site you want to scrape. So what are we waiting for? Lets finish this project as soon as possible. I know you need this data for business purpose the same with me I need your project to earn money. Let finish so both of us is happy.
