You are required to search for at least 20 different datasets with a maximum of 40 datasets. You are then required to apply the following classification techniques using the WEKA software on the chosen datasets: (1) Decision tree (SimpleCart), (2) Naïve Bayes, and (3) K-NN (IBk) (with K taking the value of 1 up to the number of class labels in the dataset) Once you have applied WEKA on all the datasets, it is required to accomplish the following tasks: Compare the performance of the applied techniques you have achieved through WEKA. Analyse the results with regards to the dataset properties. Write a report of no longer than 1000 words detailing the results you have reached in (1) and (2) with recommendations on the choice of the data mining technique according to the features of the dataset.

G'day, I think I would be the ideal candidate for this project, I have used Weka previously to do almost exactly these tasks! This is very very similar to tasks I performed as part of my Data Mining course during my Master of Computer Science. I can easily scrape data from wikipedia or wherever to get some interesting clusters for analysis. Can you please clarify data sources? It sounds like you mean that it is 40 sets of data, is this true? or do you mean a data set of 20-40 points? Either way it does not make a difference. I would really like to get this project as it is difficult to break into the freelancer circuit! So please help! I really look forward to working with you and making sure I meet your specifications. Hello, I can do this project. I used weka primarily for financial statistics but for this project I can find other data sets, run classifications and compare them. What about when data set is incompatible with classification, for example numerical attributes with Naïve Bayes? Do you need something special or just discretize numeric variables? And should report have some structure? If you have any question, please message me . Hope to hear from you.
