Good morning, I have gone through your word document - 1. Customer details on order – easy to remove these fields from the order table and replace them with the fields from the customers table. 2. New customers – I can’t see any reason – if you can add in customers through this database to QuickBooks – why you can’t add in payment terms too and the credit limit – would need to download QuickBooks demo and see. 3. Editing Customer Details -Not sure about this one – would need to look at the code the developer has put in – but looks like it is searching QuickBooks for the customer and then updating – perhaps there is a quicker way to search by amending the search query – there are various ways to speed up searches. 4. Payment terms – looks like an easy fix. 5. Customer Page –ditto – an easy fix. 6. Customer Name search – Access has some superb built in search capabilities- they may not all be being used – but a search button can definitely also be added. 7. Orders – filter items – yes – it can be amended. 8. Find and Replace on tables – have you tried clicking Replace All – depending on how it is setup – that might work – otherwise I can build a customised find. 9. Menu reordering – a simple fix. I have 20 years database design and programming experience in Access - and have written many databases that connect to Pastel and SQL databases as well as to Sage Accpac etc - I don't use QuickBooks but am very familiar in using ODBC drivers.
