hi Micheal How are you doing ? i Would'like to introduce myself and my area of expertise, so to make sure I meet your project requirements before I sign NDA. I'm HW designer, specially embedded System based in different MCU architectures, I am using different tools to design electrinocs boards and apply different verification depends on project needs: EDA tools I used: - Altium designer since 2004 ( it was name protel) - Hyperlynx signal integrity and cross talk verification for high speed PCB. - Synopsys to check Electromagnetic of High speed PCB( to meet FCC and CE standard) - Solidworks ( my skills intermediary) just to design IC package or connectors when not available online to verify placement of parts before go ahead with PCB production and assembly. - Vhdl/verilog mostly verilog in case your project based in customes project that reqiure updates without changing the PCB design, I am using Xilinx FPGA and Smartfusion2 and smart fusion 3 FPGA from actionsemi.
