Convert a Google Sheets plugin (Javascript), which works with our API, into an Excel Add-in (VBA)

Hello, My name is Chris and, as you can see from my profile, I have 16 years experience with Excel/VBA, while I'm teaching them both (all levels) during last 13 years. Communication with an API normally can be done via VBA, however, is this the only thing that existing Javascript plugin does? Could you provide more details about your company's API (functions, methods, classes, etc it provides)? That way I will be able to give you a more detailed proposal.
