We currently use an Excel spreadsheet (see attached PDF) to calculate the final weight of a vehicle after we have fitted our equipment. This was done a few years ago and it has a few problems that need to be resolved and a few new features that need to be added. Vehicle Image: At the top of the document is an image of the vehicle. Currently it only shows one type which is confusing for the customer when they receive the printed document. The sheet should be modified so that there is a new drop-down list with several options which allows the user to select the type of vehicle and automatically change the picture according to their selection. some vehicle types have two seats whilst others have 4. If a 4 seat vehicle is selected, the table at the bottom should automatically add the weight of the extra passengers. If a 2 seat vehicle is selected, it should remove their weight. Vehicle load position: On many vehicles it is easy to over-load the suspension and tyres by placing the load in the wrong place on the vehicle. Currently we have to type in some different numbers to move the load around and work out the best place for it. We would like the sheet to include a graph that shows the vehicle axle loads Vs. the position of the load, relative to the front wheel. Other information: There will be around 6 vehicle types The document should be well designed so that when printed it fits nicely onto an A4 size sheet. Calculations are made by "taking moments" around the front axle. There are several verifications that are made to ensure the vehicle remains legal - These are simple calculations based on the dimensions given by the user. The current spreadsheet shall be provided to the successful bidder. Images for each vehicle type shall be provided.

Hello, I read through the requirement description you shared and also saw the attachment. At a high level I understand what needs to be done and would recommend a use of macros and formulas to achieve the results you are looking for. Like for example, we could simply create a list of vehicle types on one sheet and add images to it. Now, based on vehicle selection, the appropriate image would be referred and show in the weight sheet. The other validations could be coded as well. For the graph, I will need to know how to calculate the position of the load. If you could explain this and a few other queries and share the existing workbook, I would certainly be able to create the sheet as required.
