An international IT company is looking for a Developer Evangelist.
What is a Developer Evangelist? The job of an evangelist is to raise awareness for our products in developer communities. The person for this role will write blog entries / articles, create demos and code samples, participate in discussions on Stack Overflow, build relationships with developers through social media, etc.
We are looking for someone who has development background, can talk to developers using their "native" language and likes blogging and participating in technical communities.
The person for this role will be responsible for activities that inspire developers to engage with our technology, as well as educate and help them to integrate our tools into their own apps.
Desired qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree.
1+ year’s work experience as a software developer. Ideally one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby, JS.
Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, and effective at providing practical guidance.
Ability and willingness to regularly write and publish technical content in the form of blogs, articles or slide presentations.
Excellent written English communication skills is a must.
Blogging experience is a plus.
