Add auction feature to existing wordpress e-commerce website

We are currently looking for a good all round developer who can assist us with adding new features to our existing website which continues to evolve. The first feature required is the addition of Auction functionality Applies to: Desktop and mobile devices Problem: There currently is no functionality in place to allow for auctions to be created on the platform. Solution: Create auction features within woocommerce that allows for an administrator to create a product on auction for any specified duration and also allow a user to place bids (once registered). We would also like the user to receive updates on when they have been outbid in addition to reminders closer to the end of the auction (configurable). Each newly created auction will have it’s own Auction Identifier. For example; Streets of London Auction will be for example ‘AUCTION-SOL-01’ Each product that has been created as an auction record should have an Auction Lot Number. For example; 001, 002, 003 etc. etc. This means that if we wanted to in the future, we can add functionality to historically search to find out previous auction price data. A ‘PLACE BID’ button is required on the store page against each product which is part of the auction. Clicking on this button will bring the user to the auction lot product which contains all the information about the product. In addition to the Product Title and Product Description fields (like a normal product), we also require the end date/time information, how many days remaining (see example below) as well as how many bids have been placed and the current bidding price, and whether a reserve has been met or not (if applicable). If no bids have been placed the product lot will display the min starting bid (configurable against each auctioned product lot) and show ‘no bids’ (configurable). There should be a button that says ‘REGISTER TODAY TO BID’. The button text label needs to be configurable. The user then needs to create an account (like a user does when opening an account for the store). Once registered and logged in, the button will now change to ‘Place Bid’. Once clicked, there should be a page with T’s & C’s which need to be checked in order to continue, a binding agreement of some sort. Again the text that is displayed in here should be configurable as we may want to revise and strengthen our bidding policy over time. Once the T’s & C’s have been agreed to, the bid is placed and the bidder receives an email to say they have placed a bid. If the bidder is winning the auction after placing their bid, it should say ‘You are currently winning the auction’. This message needs to be configurable. If the bidder is not winning the auction after placing their bid, it should say ‘You have been outbid. Please place another bid to increase your chance of winning the auction.’ This message needs to configurable. It’s important all the text labels/prompts are configurable as this gives us the maximum flexibility we require. There is no requirement to handle the invoicing/payment side of the auction functionality at present as we will work out costs of postage prior to sending out an invoice manually to the customer.
