Arduino Integration App

Hi, I believe you have a code that is using hard-coded number and to change the number you need to ultimately change the program and flash arduino every time. Wanted to make it a configurable one. This can be done by several ways. We can have GUI (display and buttons) connected to arduino to configure the number. Or we can have other indirect ways like sending the configuration via serial way (requires a computer or another serial device to send) or even we can keep the configuration information in SD card that can be edited using PC or even using smart phone. Based on how this system is used and how frequently parameters are modified. Thanks!

Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. (autopromotion^)) it is not complex to create small app to send data to arduino via serial. But arduino has to have corresponding precedure to get this data. Plus it should store it in eeprom and your main code should get this data from it - so it has to be changed too.
