Build a Website

We are the founders of [login to view URL], a Matchmaking website where we handpick and search for a spouse for our clients from within our database. We have some very unique features which need improvement. Our website is currently live, but there are some issues on the backend and functionality wise that need to be altered and improved. Not created from scratch. The majority of our website functions are all in place, but they just need to be altered slightly. We currently operate a 3 stage process for our clients: Stage 1: We swap both user's anonymous profiles Stage 2: If both users like eachother's anonymous profiles, they swap eachother's photos and video (both users must have a video for them to progress onto stage 2) Stage 3: If both users like eachother's photo and video, they can swap contact details. Before both user's mutually swap, they will be forwarded onto payment and will be charged £49.99 each. Only once payment has gone through, can the contact details be released. I have attached photos of this process below. There are already the core functions put in place (by our previous website designer and web developer), which need to be navigated by you and figured out. He has created pages that allow us to match users, and monitor their status. We just need the functions slightly altered. Changes include: 1. We need a good database program (at the moment, the website is hosted on Wordpress and so we are managing our database from Wordpress), as we are matchmaking people based on their requirements for a spouse and so we need several search filters to narrow down our clients. Currently, we can only use one search filter at a time which will be very time consuming, as you can imagine. At the moment, all the clients are test accounts as we haven't launched the company yet. 2. We need to make sure the current mailing list is integrated correctly for different functions of the website so that users are receiving the correct emails at the right time. Some more emails need to be added and matched with the user's experience on our website. 4. Payment - we need to set up payment for credit/debit card and PayPal safely so users can pay before they swap contact details. 5. We also need some kind of security so that people can't hack into our website and steal our clients data. 6. As part of our service, users will need to upload a short video of themselves (10-30 seconds) before they accept or request Stage 2 from their match. We need you to help make this not slow down the process of our website. We have been advised to create this on an additional server but are unsure as to how to do this. Our previous web developer integrated a video function allowing users to upload videos, but it slowed down the website. We also need you to remind users that they can only request stage 2 with a match, or accept stage 2 with a match, once they have uploaded a video. Without a video, they cannot progress onto stage 2. 7. Everything must be mobile optimised, including functionality. 8. Design wise - some minor design changes need to be made, including the user's log in area appearance. 9. Function regarding Account Suspension and Deactivation needs to be discussed and integrated.
