Build a Website

Create a responsive HTML CSS3 website with the following requirements: 1. Works on Chrome, Firefox and IE. 2. Works on mobile (Tablet and Phone). 3. Design is crisp, clean and clear - and that website is built from scratch using standards for HTML and CSS3. 4. You will need to create a main design with header and footer and all components nicely proportioned and well thought and designed. 5. You will ensure that styles are incorporated into the css. 6. You will code from scratch and you will avoid Jquery where possible. No templates - no fameworks. The backend is being developed in Django and python and your design must be clean - I have managed a lot of projects and I do not accept rubbish - so do not bit please if you cannot do this. There are three aspects that must be designed. The first is the landing page, but all pages will have common the header and footer. There will all be quite a few aspects of image manipulation here with he style sheets - i,e, taking images and making then fit the design - something that works for all images. A) Landing page visuals. i) The design theme is honey/bees and hexagonal shapes will play a key role in each of the active elements of the page. Here is an image of the honeycomb as inspiration for how each hexagonal element should look. ii) The large hexagonal shapes in the main splash panel are to be clickable and each one should contain a different background image. There should be foreground text too. The whole area of the hexagon must be clickable. The hexagons must tesselate in the pattern shown. iii) The menu should be a roll over - i.e. hovering over the menu should embolden the menu options. Each menu option will have a hexagon next to it. iv) The logo should be clickable and space must be provided for a strapline underneath. The logo will be an image. v) The footer is pretty standard - some links etc in keeping with the over-all theme. B) List view i) You will code up the table structure of the elements outlined. Each row will have the elements you can see, ii) The three left tessellated images behave the same as in the landing page. Each of these hexagons will display a different image - that will later be programmatically controlled in the HTML not the CSS so you must pass in filename from css. iii) You will create/design the drop down boxes/check box/radio buttons to the appropriate styles. iv) There will be hover over features on the row - the box will reduce in intensity. v) Star System, we will talk about this feature further and how you will display the star system - given a number from 0.0 to 5.0 you will produce a series of stars on each row element. vi) Provide the filtering on the right hand side (repeat same elements) C) Picture view i) Here you will need to provide a photo frame for each image - and each image could potentially be a different size. Most however will have the same ratio as A4 or Legal size. ii) I will provide the photoframe style and by using css you will take a given image - programatically in the HTML page (not the CSS!!) and you will create a border around each image. iii) You will need to find a suitable mechanism that allows 2 different images on each row and that will handle multiple rows of course. iv) There will be titles under each of the images., which also have a deletion option (a trash can). v) Provide some drop downs as before.
