Complete NOTEBOOK product development

Complete development of a NOTEBOOK (journal/diary) by using a combination of various materials, such as: paper, wood, leather, cardboard. The designer should propose the format, production specification and established detailed technical specs for the product. The designer should develop both product's layout, content with added innovative features, making the product ready-for-production. Would be produced with Offset printing technology, as well as wood and upholstery production for the details. - Input on the desired features to be integrated: original (not to contain parts of other works), avant-garde and unique cover design and content, uncommon shape, interesting, yet practical functionality, illustrated graphics, carving, etc. To include a value added hi-tec feature, e.g. usb, pen holder, led light, etc. - TG: one version intended for a high-end group of users (more luxurious product) and the other design intended for the mass market. - The designer is expected to offer at least 3 proposals in line with the communicated brief. They should be the designer's original works. - In the end the chosen product by the winning designer should be provided in an editable vector hi-res format in Illustrator, InDesign, and to contain all of the elements to be ready for print (DTP) and production of the rest of the elements. - The designers should provide small res layouts/drawings of the proposals as a preview for selection. If selected, the designer would then provide the hi-res complete file along with the technical documentation for its production and would receive payment for a 100% satisfactory outcome. The copyrights of the chosen work are relayed to the company issuing this call for proposals. - Deadline for proposal submissions: 01.12.2015
