Submission Guidelines for MM1010C The Brief The ‘story’ of your animation is a conversation between two animals. Your animation should be real, but need not be naturalistic. This story is 1 minute long (maximum) and should exploit the animation techniques you have explored during the module (cut-out, claymation and cel animation). You should submit the following: Your rough emotion boards and your final emotion board for your 1??"minute animation. Your rough storyboards and your final storyboard for your 1??"minute animation A CD with the complete 1??"minute animation saved as a Macromedia Director file (*.dir) or as a ToonBoom Project. A ToonBoom Project is the folder that is automatically created when you save your ToonBoom work on a PC. You must submit the whole folder and NOT just the *.tbp file inside the folder. If you are using ToonBoom Studio you should also export your movie as a QuickTime movie (*.mov). When you export your movie make sure the following option is ticked: Export Type: Full Movie. If you do not do this, we may not be able to assess your work as the ToonBoom project does not always work when distributed on CD. You should also demonstrate very clearly that you have integrated the three kinds of animation into your 1??"minute animation. You can do this by submitting a short explanatory document. This document can take any form so long as it is clear. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows xp
