Convert Logo into jpg and resize

I have a logo in .bmp format. I would like to have it resized to 1 inch wide, 2 inches wide, and 3 inches wide. The logos should be saved in both .bmp (for printing) and .jpg (for web) formats. The problem I am having is that when I resize it or convert to .jpg, it gets blurry.
